Statement by Jeb Bush, Chairman of the Foundation for Florida's Future,
on Appointments to the Florida State Board of Education
"I applaud Governor Charlie Crist for reappointing Kathleen Shanahan and appointing Susan Story and Mark Kaplan to the State Board of Education. These three individuals are passionate about making Florida’s education a model for the nation. With their leadership, Florida will continue to improve the quality of education in classrooms across the Sunshine State.
I also appreciate the hard work and dedication of Linda Taylor and Peter Boulware who have both served the people of Florida on the State Board of Education."
